Boston Crab
Here is a beer label I designed for Northern Monk Brewing Company as part of a series of craft beers they created inspired by famous wrestling finishing moves. Various local artists were asked to create a label design based on an old school finisher of their choice.
For me, the hardest part of the entire process was deciding which finishing move I should choose to illustrate. With so many great ones out there it was really difficult but, after a great deal of consideration, I eventually selected the ‘Boston Crab’ as it generated an interesting image in my mind.
I had a great deal of fun working on this and all of the finished designs looked so impressive together as a set. I don’t actually drink, so my complimentary four pack is still proudly displayed on my shelf at home unopened, yet still overflowing with awesomeness!
