Eddy the Co-Ed Killer
This is an illustration of Ed Kemper who came to my attention while I was watching the Netflix series ‘Mindhunter’. The show is based on how the FBI developed the technique of criminal profiling and the way they applied it to cases in order to catch some of the most infamous killers in American history.
As I’m sure you can imagine, the show features a host of gruesome and despicable characters, but none stand out more than that of the 7 foot, 300 pound Ed Kemper. Don’t be mistaken though, Ed’s prominence isn’t due to his physical attributes, but rather because of his intelligence and his placid nature. I for one did not expect a serial killer to be quite so affable!
